This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that respondent No.2 has not been releasing the petitioner's tractor and trailer bearing registration Nos.AP 24 AS 3420 and AP 24 AS 3421 respectively.

In Paragraph 5 of his affidavit, the petitioner has averred that he made a representation on 22-11-2015 to respondent No.2 to release the seized tractor and trailer. However, a copy of the purported representation filed along with the Writ Petition bears the date '24-11-2015'. The petitioner has further averred that respondent No.2 has not been receiving his application.

In the above facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is permitted to make an application for release of the seized tractor and trailer before respondent No.2. Respondent No.2 is directed to receive the said application and within one week thereafter, take a decision thereon and communicate the same to the petitioner Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.49730 of 2015, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous..
