HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY Contempt Case No.1183 of 2016 ORDER: (per V. Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioner, who participated in the selection for appointment to the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor and who failed to get the selection, unsuccessfully challenged his nonselection in writ petition. His Review Petition was dismissed. While dismissing a Review Petition filed by him, this Court granted a small relief by permitting him to make a representation.

That representation was rejected forcing him to come up with the present Contempt Case.

2. The only ground on which this contempt case is filed is that the respondent took a particular stand in yet another batch of writ petitions arising out of the order of the A.P. Administrative Tribunal and that the said contention is now found to be false.

3. We have carefully considered the above submission.

4. Unfortunately, the petitioner has misunderstood an argument advanced in a different batch of writ petitions as tantamounting to an undertaking on the part of the respondents. What was raised by the respondents was a contention and not an undertaking. The contention was not even raised in the case of the petitioner but raised in a different batch of cases. Therefore, no contempt arises.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed.

VRS, J & ARR, J C.C. No.1183 of 2016 As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
