THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 46111 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not registering a crime in spite of the complaint, dated 30.11.2016, lodged by the petitioner. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that a case in Crime No.2 of 2017 was registered by the Station House Officer, I Town Police Station, Hindupur on 04.01.2017 and subsequently on the point of jurisdiction, the file was transferred to the Station House Officer, Hindupur Rural Police Station and investigation is under progress.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
