THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 32211 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The action of Respondents 2 and 3 in not registering the First Information Report on the complaint given by the petitioners dated 09.09.2017 and pressurizing them to settle the civil disputes with the 4th respondent, is challenged in this Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh). Since it is the complaint of the petitioners that no action has been taken on their report dated 09.09.2017, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent Station House Officer, I Town Police Station, Vijayawada (wrongly mentioned in the cause title as II Town Police Station) to take into account and consideration the complaint of the petitioners and if it discloses commission of a cognizable offence, necessary steps shall be taken to register the case and action considered appropriate shall be taken in accordance with law. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
