THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.17268 of 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to take necessary remedial measures in conducting a fresh counselling for filling up MBBS and BDS seats in the State and to rectify the irregular entry of Nellore District students in the Zone IV by accommodating them in Zone III, which was the correct Zone of such students as per the provisions of the Presidential Order and Article 371-D of the Constitution.

This prayer was advanced in the context of the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test held in the year 2009. No interim orders were granted by this Court at the time of admission of this case. In that view of the matter, the issue raised has become purely academic by efflux of time.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
