THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.LAXMAN CONTEMPT CASE No.1601 of 2012 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed to punish respondent No.1 herein, who has violated the directions of this Court by issuing proceedings appointing Managing Committee to perform Eidgah prayers on the days of Ramzan and Bakrid festivals on the subject property. It is further submitted that respondent No.1, who appointed the said Managing Committee in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer, Telangana (Andhra Pradesh) State Waqf Board, has died. In the said circumstances, continuation of the contempt proceedings is unwarranted.

Accordingly, this contempt case is closed on account of abatement of proceedings against the contemnor. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
