ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned action of the respondents in issuing impugned Lr/ADE/OP/SD/Sircilla/Theft/D.No.

22/2018-19 dated 29.5.2018, Lr /ADE/OP/SD/Sircilla/Theft/ D.No.23/2018-19 dated 29.5.2018, Lr/ADE/OP/SD/Sircilla/Theft/ D.No.24/2018-19 dated 29.5.2018, Lr /ADE/OP/SD/Sircilla/Theft/D.No.26/2018-19, dated 29.5.2018 and Lr/ADE/OP/SD/SirciIla/ Theft/D.No.36/2018-19, dated 30-5-2018 disconnecting power supply to the petitioner Power Looms without any notice and opportunity and further proceeding to effect recovery as highly, illegal, arbitrary and violation of Articles 14 and 19 of Constitution of India and contrary to the provision of Electricity Supply Act and consequently set aside the same and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The grievance of the petitioner is that without following due process of law, and without giving any notice, the respondents have disconnected the power supply. While admitting the writ petition, this Court granted interim suspension on 3.7.2018 in I.A.No.1 of 2018. In pursuance thereof, power supply was restored to the premises of the petitioner.

In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. If the respondents intend to take any further action, it is always open for them to take action against the petitioner, after giving opportunity to her, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
