(Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) This is an appeal coming up for consideration along with the application seeking to condone the delay of 203 days. We have considered not only the grounds stated for condonation of delay but also merits of the writ appeal as well. The appellant challenged his inclusion in the rowdy list.

After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner - appellant sought leave to withdraw this writ appeal. Permission is granted.

Accordingly, both W.A.M.P. No.1572 of 2017 and the Writ Appeal are dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.
