Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Aggrieved by the passbook granted in favour of 4th respondent in respect of land to an extent of Ac.2-20 guntas in Survey No.133/1/1/10/1 and Ac.2-20 gutas in Survey No.133/1/1/17 of Bethupalli Village, Sattupalli Mandal, Khammam District, the petitioners preferred a revision petition before the 2nd respondent- Joint Collector, Khammam. Though the 2nd respondent entertained the said revision petition by assigning ROR Revision Petition No.10 of 2019, there is no progress in the revision petition. Hence, Writ Petition is filed. 3.

The material placed on record would show that on 04.11.2019 notice was issued fixing the date of hearing of the revision petition as 16.11.2019. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners attended before the 2nd respondent on the said date, but hearing did not take place and no further date is assigned.

Since the petitioners filed Revision Petition No.10 of 2019 in the month of February, 2019, and there is no progress till today, the 2nd respondent -Joint Collector, Khammam, is directed to expedite the hearing of ROR Revision Petition No.10 of 2019, complete the proceedings and pass final orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6)

- 3 - weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due opportunity to both the parties.
