This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioners/ A4 and A5, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.213 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Avanigadda, Krishna District, where taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Section 498-A and 506 r/ w 34 I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, before ordering notice to respondent No.2/ de facto complainant.

A perusal of the final report with investigation material no way enables the Court to interdict the post-cognizance proceedings before the learned Magistrate, as remedy is left open to the petitioners and other accused in the course of hearing before charges, if at all, to file an application for discharge, if no grounds to frame charge under Section 239 Cr.P.C.
