HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 7241 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners from the date on which they completed five years of service in terms of G.O.Ms.No.212, dated 22.04.1994 with all consequential benefits. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioners have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. However, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondents seeking regularization of their services, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and upon receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon within four weeks thereafter.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 16th November, 2018 cbs
