HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION No. 40 of 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

In the PIL, challenge is raised to G.O.Ms.Nos.21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, all dated 04.02.2015.

On 27.04.2015, the statement of learned Government Pleader appearing for the State of Andhra Pradesh was recorded that the State of Andhra Pradesh had taken steps for amendment of the impugned Government Orders as well as the consequential orders passed, whereby the entire State of Andhra Pradesh is proposed to be treated as one single District for the purpose of registration. The State of Andhra Pradesh has filed additional counter-affidavit and placed G.O.Ms.Nos.230, 231 and 232, all dated 27.06.2015, in super-session of the impugned Government Orders. In view thereof, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner does not press the PIL and seeks liberty to the petitioner to consider whether he would like to challenge the fresh Government Orders, if so advised.

The PIL is disposed of as not pressed with liberty as prayed.

All contentions on merits are kept open.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
