Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of respondents on the petitioners' representation dated 28.04.2017, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 28.04.2017, made by the petitioners, seeking retention and continuation of respondent No.4 school by considering 79 existing student strength and well established infrastructure, before taking any decision for rationalization of schools in Vinjamuru Mandal of SPSR Nellore District.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, submits that if the said application is still pending, the same may be directed to be considered in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 28.04.2017, made by the petitioners, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks. No costs.
