HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.11390 of 2017 ORDER: (Per Justice Suresh Kumar Kait) In pursuance of order dated 10.04.2017, petitioner as well as respondents 4 to 7 are personally present before the Court. 2.

It is an admitted fact that daughter of the petitioner is missing from the year 2012 and her father filed the present petition against respondents, including the husband of the missing girl and his family members. It is also an admitted fact that W.P.No.17795 of 2013 was filed by the 5th respondent, i.e., the father of the 4th respondent and this Court, by order dated 08.07.2013 observed that alleged detenu was moving freely and no further orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, the said petition was disposed of. After reporting missing FIR No.46 of 2012, Police investigated the case and found that the detenue in the present petition left her matrimonial house by writing an open letter, which is recovered by the Police, stating that she was leaving the house at her free will. The said letter was sent to the FSL and it is established that the same was written by the detenue in her own handwriting.

Learned Special Govt. Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 submits that the Police tried their best to trace out the daughter of the petitioner - K.Saira Banu, including issuing lookout notice and also verified that there is no passport issued in her name; however, her whereabouts could not be ascertained. He assured this Court, as and when any clue of the daughter of the petitioner is received by the Police, the same will be communicated to the petitioner.

Since the petitioner is not aware of the progress of the investigation in the above said crime, we hereby direct respondents 1 to 3 to give information regarding the progress of investigation to the petitioner every six months till the investigation is logically completed/concluded. 5.
