When the matter was called on 01.11.2017, none appeared for the petitioner and there was no representation on his behalf, and as such, this Court directed to list the matter under the caption "For dismissal". Even today also, though the matter appears under the caption "For dismissal", none appears for the petitioner and there is no representation on his behalf. Therefore, the petitioner is not evincing any interest in prosecuting the matter.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. 3.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
