THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE DR JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Writ Appeal No.969 of 2013 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} This appeal, under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, is preferred against the order passed by the Learned Single Judge in W.P.No.16951 of 2007 dated 14.10.2009 whereby, instead of compassionate appointment, the respondents were directed to pay the lumpsum amounts as applicable within a period of three months. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioners in the writ petition carried the matter in appeal, and interim orders were passed in W.A.M.P.No.2032 of 2013 dated 03.02.2014 directing the respondents to consider the case of the appellant-writ petitioners in accordance with the existing policy. Sri N.

Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, on instructions, would submit that, in terms of the interim orders passed by this Court, the appellant-writ petitioners' case was considered for compassionate appointment; the 2nd appellant herein has been provided compassionate appointment in the RTC; and he continues to work as a Conductor as on date. As the relief sought for in the writ petition has been granted by the RTC itself, pursuant to the interim orders of this Court as aforementioned, no further orders need be passed in this Writ Appeal. The Writ Appeal fails and is, accordingly, dismissed.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
