HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.22689 of 2018 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondent-police in harassing the petitioners by insisting the 1st petitioner to surrender all his properties and belongings in favour of the 6th respondent and leave his residence as well as the State.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on written instructions submits that basing on the complaint of the 6th respondent, who is the wife of the 1st petitioner a case in Cr. No.132 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC was registered on 25-06-2018 and the 1st petitioner is absconding from the said date.
Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. However, it is open for the petitioners to avail remedies available to them. However, under the guise of investigation, the respondent-police cannot harass the petitioners. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
