The impugned order dated 23-03-2015 is passed by the Project Director placing the petitioner herein, who is working as a Field Assistant in Bhyri Village, Srikakulam Mandal, Srikakulam District under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, pending enquiry. The allegations, which have been taken into consideration, are too trivial in nature warranting the extreme step of placing the writ petitioner under suspension pending enquiry. However, the respondents are under an obligation to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a maximum period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

However, in the mean time, the petitioner shall be reinstated to duty, immediately.

With this, the writ petition stands disposed of at the admission stage after hearing Sri M.S.Ramachdhara Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the M.G.N.R.E.G. Scheme, but without costs.
