On the last occasion when the appeal was listed, i.e., on 02.06.2017, there was no representation on either side. Today, learned counsel for the respondent-insurance company is present. There is no representation on behalf of the appellant today also. It appears, appellant has no interest in pursuing the appeal. The appeal is, therefore, dismissed for default. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the appeal stand closed.
