This criminal petition is filed under Section 407 Cr.P.C. to transfer C.C.No.5 of 2018 pending on the file of Special Judge for A.P.Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999-cum-Principle District and Sessions Judge, Srikakulam, A.P. to the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, Krishna District.

Heard and perused the record.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that by virtue of order dated 11.03.2014 in W.P.No.31381 of 2013 of this Court, similar cases were transferred to Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, Krishna District and the same are pending.

The allegations leveled against the petitioner in the present case are similar to those cases. Therefore, this case is required to be decided by the same Court, which is dealing with the earlier transferred cases. In view of the above, the criminal petition is allowed. C.C.No.5 of 2018 on the file of Special Judge for A.P. Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999-cum-Principle District and Sessions Judge, Srikakulam, A.P. is withdrawn and transferred to the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, Krishna District, for disposal in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
