Limited grievance of the petitioners in all these writ petitions is, aggrieved by the decision of granting pattadar pass books in favour of 4th respondent in respective Writ Petitions on land to an extents mentioned in the table below, revision petitions are filed before the Joint Collector. The Joint Collector assigned the revision numbers, but there is no progress in the revisions filed by them.

Petitioners allege that even though revisions are received, assigned numbers and notices were issued, but no hearing has taken place and it is asserted that so far the revision petitions are not finalized.

The copies of the revisions filed by the petitioners and notices issued in the revision petitions are filed in the material paper books in respective writ petitions.

In view thereof, without expressing opinion on merits, Writ Petitions are disposed of, directing the Joint Collector to finalize the revision petitions, if no orders are passed so far, pending before him by affording due opportunity to all the parties in the revision

petitions with advance intimation, and pass orders assigning reasons in support of the decision, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
