This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 4 of Crime No.47 of 2018 of Station House Officer, Kamanpur Police Station, Peddapalli District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A of Indian Penal Code (for short "I.P.C.") and under Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the court below to follow guidelines formulated by the Apex Court in Raj esh Sh ar m a v. St at e of U.P.1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the Court concerned to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Raj esh Sh ar m a's case (supra). Accordingly, Court concerned is directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in Raj esh Sh ar m a's case (supra). With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
