THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44959 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not registering the crime against the respondents 3 to 7 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23-11-2016 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondent No.2 to take appropriate legal action against the respondents 3 to 7 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23-11-2016.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to register the case, if the complaint of the petitioner discloses cognizable offence.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
