HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7914 of 2013 ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by petitioner/accused, seeking quashment of proceedings in Crime No.266 of 2013 of Neredmet Police Station, in which, he is charged for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 11.05.2016, addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri P.S. to the Public Prosecutor and submitted that in this matter, Police, after investigation, referred the case as civil in nature and in view of it, the present petition, which is filed for quashing the F.I.R. in Crime No.266 of 2013, may be dismissed as infructuous.

Learned counsel for petitioner/accused is present and reported no objection.

In the light of above submission by the learned Public Prosecutor, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
