This is an application filed by the petitioner-A1 under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.35 of 2014 on the file of Gannavaram Police Station, Krishna District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 I.P.C. The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, the defacto complainant, upon believing the words of Accused No.2, agreed to give an amount of Rs.3.00 lakhs to the petitioner-A1 for getting a Government job i.e., Excise Constable, to his brother-in-law and accordingly the defacto complainant paid Rs.2.00 lakhs on 02.03.2013 and the remaining Rs.1.00 lakh on 22.04.2013, to the petitioner-A1. However, the brother-in-law of the defacto complainant did not get any job and when the defacto complainant tried to inform the same to the petitioner-A1, he vacated the house. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence and that he has been falsely implicated in the case due to personal disputes between him and the defacto complainant.

Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is not yet completed in this case and, therefore, it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner-A1. Keeping in view the serious allegations leveled against the petitioner-A1 and also the material available on record, I

am of the view that it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner-A1 at this stage.
