Heard both sides.

2. Petitioners, who are fair price shop dealers, submits that their authorization was cancelled by the respective orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer dated 27.12.2014 and 27.01.2015. Petitioners have preferred appeals against the said order on 11.02.2015 and 21.02.2015 respectively along with applications for stay and the same are not yet taken up and pending before the Joint Collector.

Hence, the petitioners have moved the present writ petitions seeking to continue their authorization.

3. Evidently, the authorization of the fair price shops of the petitioners stands affected by the order of the cancellation impugned in the respective writ petitions. Since the appeals, filed before the Joint Collector, are pending before the Joint Collector, it is for the Joint Collector to deal with the explanation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders. However, it is also necessary for the Joint Collector to take up and decide the stay petitions in the respective appeals filed by the petitioners at an early dated.

4. In view of the above, the Joint Collector is directed to hear and dispose of the stay petitions at least in the respective appeals within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, taken and decide the main appeals.

The writ petitions are disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
