This writ petition is filed questioning the inaction on the part of respondent No.5 in registering the crime based on the complaints filed by the petitioner dated 28.06.2019 and 17.07.2019 and to declare the same as illegal and violation of fundamental right. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 03.12.2019, a copy of which is placed on record, submits that the petitioner Sai Kiran Pothana gave a complaint to the fifth respondent-Station House Officer on 28.11.2019 alleging that on 28.06.2019, while the petitioner was on his way to his office, two persons came on their two wheeler in a drunken condition and dashed his car due to which car was damaged on the right side and the said two persons escaped from the spot with the vehicle. Learned Assistant Government Pleader further submits that on receipt of the complaint, a case was registered in Crime No.374/2019 under Section 279 I.P.C on the file of fifth respondent-Adibatla Police Station on 28.11.2019 and the matter is under investigation.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of respondent No.5 and since a case has been registered and the matter is under investigation, the grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition stands redressed and no further orders need be passed in the writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
