Petitioner is a Sarpanch of Gadelanka Village. Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that free sand quarrying is permitted between Kommanapally - Gadelanka sand reach from Km 58.000 to Km 58.500.

Learned counsel for petitioner alleges that granting of quarrying sand at the said place would have serious impact on various aspects affecting villagers. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that detailed representation was submitted by the petitioner along with several villagers addressed to the District Collector on 21.11.2016 and petitioner would be satisfied if the directions are issued to the District Collector to consider their representation within a fixed time frame. 3.

Having regard to the same, writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing the District Collector (2nd respondent) to examine the grievance of the petitioner as contained in the representation dated 21.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law and communicate a decision thereon by a reasoned order to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
