THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21017 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 in not filing the Final Report in relation to Crime No.296 of 1997 pending on the file of the IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad even after lapse of 20 years of registration of case as illegal and arbitrary and grant the relief as this Court deems fit and proper. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), on instructions, submits that the investigation in the aforesaid crime was completed long back and the police filed a final report before the IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, Nampally on 10.02.2000 vide F.R.No.98 of 2000 treating the case as "Civil in nature".

Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader, no orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
