THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7081 OF 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by A.2 & A.3 under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.143 of 2014 on the file of Bhimavaram I-Town Police Station, West Godavari District for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Considering the nature of the allegations against the petitioners herein, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings at this stage. However, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate Court if they are aggrieved over the charge sheet, if any, filed against them. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed with the above observation.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
