THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 24599 OF 2015 ORDER:

Challenging the election of the 4th respondent, the petitioner filed Election case No.E/347/2013-2 before the Election Tribunal. The said election petition is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent/ Election Tribunal.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the said election petition is not disposed of by the 2nd respondent even though more than two years elapsed.

Having regard to the grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of Election case file No.E/347/2013-2 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 months.

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
