This writ petition is filed challenging the proceeding dt.08.02.2016 issued by the 3rd respondent rejecting renewal of affiliation to the petitioner institution for the academic year 2015-2016 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner institution to participate in DEECET-2015 web counselling commencing from 18.02.2016 to 22.02.2016.

The subject matter of this writ petition pertains to DEECET-2015 web counselling and is of the year 2016. As on today, no interim order was granted by this Court. By efflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if still petitioner has any grievance for the subsequent years, it is open for the petitioner to agitate its rights. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
