This Court while admitting the writ petition on 09.04.2012 granted interim order in WPMP No.11005 of 2012 directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Sub-Engineer.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. K.Udaya Sri, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. It is stated by Smt. K.Udaya Sri, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that in pursuant to interim order dated 09.04.2012 in WPMP No.11005 of 2012, the 2nd respondent, after considering the case of the petitioner passed orders in Lr.No.CGM(Adm)DS(Adm)/AS(V&R)(T)/PO-A/125/2012, dated 20.12.2012. Moreover, the main prayer in the writ petition is also for consideration of the case of the petitioner for appointment as Sub-Engineer.

Since the respondents have already considered the case of the petitioner and passed orders dated 20.12.2012, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open for the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated 20.12.2012. There shall be no order as to costs.
