HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.9137 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor and perused the record.

This Criminal Petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.521 of 2015 on the file of the learned II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Huzurabad. Learned counsel for the petitioner-accused would submit that there are money transactions between the petitioneraccused and the de facto complainant. He would further submit that the petitioner-accused has paid a sum of Rs.75,000/- to the de facto complainant and he is ready to pay the balance amount and get the matter settled with the de facto complainant. Learned Public Prosecutor would submit that both the afore-mentioned offences are compoundable.

The petitioner prays this Court to grant 30 days' time to settle the case before the trial Court.

Under these circumstances, the petitioner-accused shall not be arrested for a period of 30 days from today. With this direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of.
