ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for General Administration (TG) and with their consent the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. Petitioner claims to be victim of Dilsukhnagar Bomb Blast. Having regard to the loss suffered by innocent people, Government formulated scheme notified vide G O Rt No. 1305 General Administration (Law & Order -I) Department dated 18.3.2013 which provides for monetary compensation and also appointment on compassionate grounds. Petitioner was paid Rs.5,00,000/- towards compensation. According to petitioner, he is entitled to additional compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- and also entitled to provision of employment on compassionate grounds to his wife. To this extent, representation was submitted on 21.3.2018. Alleging inaction, this writ petition is filed.

Writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the District Collector/second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.3.2018 with reference to claim for provision of employment and additional compensation in terms of G O Rt No. 1305 dated 18.3.2013 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law. A decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
