This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Cement Corporation of India in issuing the notice in reference No.ADB/GMO /CL/2012 /273 dated 14.07.2012 to the unofficial respondents 4 to 8 and terminating the services of the petitioner union members without following the due procedure.

2. It is stated by Sri G. Ravi Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner Union, that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court, retrenchment compensation has been paid to all the retrenched members of the petitioner union. However, certain grievances still remain i.e., with regard to payment of gratuity, wages, arrears, DA, earned leave encashment etc. The petitioner-union filed WP MP No.35912 of 2013 in this regard. However, the prayer in this miscellaneous petition exceeds the main prayer in the writ petition. The specific grievances of the members of the petitioner-union with regard to the prayer advanced in WP MP No.35912 of 2013 would necessarily have to be addressed by

the aggrieved individuals before the authorities concerned. No interim order can be granted in this regard in the present writ petition. Reserving liberty to the individual members of the petitioner-union to canvas their grievances before the authorities concerned by way of independent proceedings in accordance with law, this matter can be disposed of.

3. The writ petition is accordingly closed with the liberty aforestated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
