OFFICE NOTE 10.10.2022 KS,J I.A.No.1 of 2022 This is an application filed by the petitioner/Accused No.3 seeking to modify the order passed by this Court on 13.09.2022 in Crl.Petition No.7964 of 2022 by reducing the surety amount from Rs.50,000/- imposed by this Court while granting bail to the petitioner/Accused No.3 in connection with Crime No.148 of 2022 on the file of Nacharam Police Station, Rachakonda for the offence under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act to any amount this Court deem fit.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.3, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the bail was granted on 13.09.2022, the petitioner is languishing in jail and the petitioner is unable to furnish sureties due to his financial condition, in the said circumstances, learned counsel seeks reduction of the surety amount.

In the said circumstances, for the reason of the petitioner/Accused No.3 languishing in jail, this Court is inclined to reduce the surety amount from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each. The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered.

With this modification, I.A. is ordered.
