O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that though no crime has been registered against him, 4th respondent - Station House Officer / Sub Inspector of Police, Gurramkonda Police Station, Gurramkonda, Chittoor District, is calling him every day to the police. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, in instructions, denied the allegations of the petitioner.

The 4th respondent is present before the court. He stated that he never called the petitioner to the police station and that he came to know about the allegations only after filing of writ petition and that when he sought to verify the allegations, the whereabouts of the petitioner are not known and the house of the petitioner was also found to be looked. Therefore, he denied the allegations of the petitioner. Recording the above statement of the 4th respondent, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is made clear that life and liberty of the petitioner shall not be interfered with, except by following due process of law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
