THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 26104 OF 2017 O R D E R:

Complaining that no charge sheet has been filed in Crime No. 3 on the file of Narayanaguda Police Station, the petitioner has approached this Court.

On 07.08.2017, when this matter was taken up, learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) has pointed out that the relief claimed by the petitioner is not matching with Crime No.3 of Narayanaguda Police Station. Realising the same, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to file the necessary Application for amendment and he was permitted to do so.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), who has obtained written instructions from the 5th respondent Sub-Inspector of Police, meanwhile, submits that the averments made in the writ affidavit relate to Crime No. 387 of 2016 dated 16.11.2016, wherein the investigation has almost been completed and that they have been taking steps to file a final report before the Court concerned, by following due process of law. In the light of the instructions received, the respondent police are directed to take necessary steps to complete the investigation into Crime No. 387 of 2016 and file a final report / charge sheet before the Court concerned, as required under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
