Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 3. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

Since this Court is not adjudicating the matter on merits, it may not be necessary to issue notice to the 4th respondent. 3.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of Respondent No.2 in passing order on the stay petition filed in ROC No.04/4929/2016 by the petitioners as arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the Respondent No.2 to dispose of stay petitions without delay pending the Appeals/Revision Petitions."

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent No.2 is not passing any order on the stay petition filed by the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if such an application is pending, the concerned authorities may be directed to dispose of the same.

As seen from the record, Stay Petition No.04/4929 of 2016 filed by the petitioners is still pending before the Joint Collector, Chittoor (R.2).

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the Stay Petition filed by the petitioners as early as possible preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
