Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

According to petitioner, land to an extent of Ac.3-50 cents in Sy.No.273 and Ac.3-11 guntas in Sy.No.267/1 of Narva Village, Jaipur Mandal, Mancherial District, belongs to his family. Petitioner now alleges that though his grandfather by name Duta Kushaiah is entitled to 1/3rd share, without his consent illegally the other family members disposed of some extent of land in the above two survey numbers. Based on the said sale transaction, the names of third parties are entered in the revenue records. Petitioner filed application to mutate his name before the Tahsildar to the extent of share of his grandfather. The Tahsildar by his correspondence dated 04.10.2018 addressed to the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Mancherial requested the RDO to take up the same as appeal and consider the issue for the reasons mentioned therein. Accordingly, Appeal No.G/594/2018 is assigned and is pending before the RDO.

The limited grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the appeal is not disposed of, so far, causing hardship to the petitioner.

Having regard to the same, without entering into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer -2nd respondent to finalize the proceedings pending before him as referred by the Tahsildar, as

- 3 - expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that there is no expression of opinion on merits and it is always open to the respondents before the RDO to raise all objections as available in law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
