HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.716 OF 2004 JUDGMENT:

Sri N. Hari Nadh, learned counsel, representing Sri Ch. Ravindra Babu, learned counsel for the revision petitioner, would submit that the revision petitioner - appellant - accused No.4 viz., Reddy Venkateswarlu, son of Subbaiah, then working as Sweeper (Gardner) T.J. College, Tenali, Guntur District, is no more, as his death occurred on 20.01.2016. To that effect, the learned counsel has supplied a photostat copy of the death certificate, dated 24.02.2016, issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, Tenali Municipality, Guntur District. In such an event, prosecution or continuation of the present criminal revision case does not arise. Therefore, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as abated. The death certificate referred to above shall form part of the record. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the present revision case stand closed.
