HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT CRIMINAL PETITION No. 17139 of 2016 O R D E R:

Vide the present petition, the petitioner/A.2 seeks direction thereby to enlarge him on bail, in connection with Crime No.216 of 2016 of Ravulapalem Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Heard both the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State.

Keeping in view the fact that huge quantity of ganja was seized in the present case, i.e., 784 kgs of ganja, and four more cases of similar nature were already registered against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. 5.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this petition, shall stand closed.
