Aggrieved by the action of respondent - police authorities in not registering the crime in pursuance of the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.06.2018, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Inspector of Police, M.R.Palli Police Station, Tirupati stating that based on the complaint of the petitioner, entry in the general diary was made and when the 3rd respondent tried to secure the presence of the petitioner to know the details of the complaint, he did not turn up, hence crime could not be registered. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to follow the guidelines laid down in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
