O R D E R

Alleging that respondents 5 and 6 - police authorities, are calling the petitioner repeatedly to the police station and insisting him to settle terms with 7th respondent, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the Sub Inspector of Police, Allavaram Police Station, East Godavari District, stating that petitioner was never called to the police station, nor insisted for settlement with 7th respondent. It is stated that a case in Cr.No.126 of 2017 was registered against the petitioner on 16.10.2017, based on the complaint of one Pothuluri Satyanarayna and the case is under investigation and apprehending arrest, petitioner filed the present writ petition.

Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of.

It goes without saying that police shall not pressurize or interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except by following due process of law.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
