The action of the 2nd respondent Station House Officer, Gadivemula Police Station in refusing to receive the complaint dated 11.08.2017 of the petitioner against the 5th respondent is questioned in this Writ Petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh) submits that on receipt of complaint from the petitioner, the same has been inquired into and a case in Crime No. 95 of 2017 was registered on 31.08.2017 against the 5th respondent for the offence punishable under Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code. A copy of FIR No. 95 of 2017 has also been placed on record. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
