THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.27361 of 2013 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed challenging the rejection of application submitted by the petitioner for counselling of MBBS/BDS counselling 2013-14 by respondent No.2 based on cut of date 31.12.2012, as illegal and arbitrary.
This Court by order dated 25.09.2013 directed the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation dated 23.09.2013 submitted by the petitioner seeking correction of date of birth. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not admitted to the course of MBBS/BDS in view of shortage of her age, and hence the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the same has become infructuous. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
