THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 1923 of 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.4-District Medical and Health Officer, Eluru, West Godavari District in selecting and continuing respondent No.5 in the post of Multi Purpose Health Assistant in Hukumpet Health Centre, Gopalapuram Mandal, West Godavari District on the basis of a Nativity Certificate issued in her favour. This Court while admitting the writ petition on 05.02.2009, directed respondent No.1 to consider the representation, dated 29.12.2008, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the Rules in force, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

It appears that pursuant to the interim order, respondent No.1 conducted an enquiry and passed an elaborate order on 17.11.2009 confirming the Nativity Certificate issued earlier in favour of respondent No.5. The petitioner did not challenge the said order. In view of the same, no cause of action survives in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
