HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.22883 OF 2018 ORDER (ORAL): (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner in the writ petition as well as in the interlocutory applications, which are pending consideration. We have also heard Mr.A.Abshishek Reddy, Standing Counsel for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).

The relief sought for in the writ petition relates to allotment of B.Tech ECE seats and affiliation for such course by the University. Through the interlocutory order issued on 05.07.2018, the University was required to grant affiliation for intake of 120 seats in the second phase of counselling. That has been done.

The writ petition does not further survive for consideration. In relation to any interlocutory application for M.Tech course, it would be beyond the scope of writ petition. 4.

In the result, we order the writ petition making absolute the interlocutory order granted on 05.07.2018 in relation to B.Tech ECE course and leaving open issues in relation to M.Tech course and other courses. Let the petitioners seek appropriate relief from appropriate jurisdiction in accordance with law regarding the claim of the

petitioners for affiliation to University for M.Tech course, notwithstanding the order that would have been issued by this Court touching the M.Tech course. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending stand closed.
