THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITIONS No. 4307 and 4333 OF 2015 COMMON ORDER:

The Principal Secretary to the Government in Labour, Employment, Training and Factories Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh is present today in the Court. It is brought out that a notification under Sections 7-A and 8 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1957 has been issued appointing Sri S.M. Rafi, the District & Sessions Judge as Chairman-cum-Presiding Officer of the Industrial Tribunalcum-Labour Court, Guntur with effect from 22.11.2013 After Noon. In view of the notification, which is published on 25.03.2015, the grievance of the petitioners in both these two cases that the Labour Court is not in a position to take up their industrial disputes for adjudication is no longer subsisting.

Hence, both the Writ Petitions are disposed of with the hope that the Labour Court would be in a position to deal with the industrial disputes pending before that Court and adjudicate them. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
